font-size: 16pt;\"><br \/> <span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">LA SAPIENZA ALLE OLIMPIADI DELL&#8217;ARCHITETTURA SOSTENIBILE<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">L&#8217;<strong>Universit\u00e0 Sapienza di Roma<\/strong> \u00e8 entrata a far parte del ristretto gruppo internazionale di 21 Atenei che per due anni competeranno al <strong>Solar Decathlon Middle East 2018 di Dubai<\/strong> con l&#8217;obiettivo di progettare e realizzare in scala reale il miglior prototipo di abitazione sostenibile ed energeticamente autosufficiente.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">I 21 Team universitari in gara, provenienti da 15 diversi Paesi del mondo, sono stati selezionati da una giuria internazionale all&#8217;interno di una rosa di oltre 60 candidature a seguito di un rigoroso processo di technical review durato oltre 3 mesi.<\/span><br \/> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> L&#8217;annuncio \u00e8 stato dato ufficialmente il 5 Ottobre 2016 durante la cerimonia di apertura del\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wges.ae\/\" target=\"_blank\">World Green Economy Summit<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>che si tiene annualmente a Dubai, alla presenza, tra gli altri, del Ministro dei Cambiamenti Climatici degli Emirati Arabi, dell&#8217;Amministratore dell&#8217;United Nations Development Program, del Direttore Generale dell\u2019International Renewable Energy Agency, e del Console generale d&#8217;Italia di Dubai.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #b80f0f;\">LA COMPETIZIONE SOLAR DECATHLON<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Creato su iniziativa del Dipartimento dell&#8217;Energia degli Stati Uniti nel 2002, il\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.solardecathlon.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">Solar Decathlon<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00e8 un <strong>concorso biennale internazionale di architettura, design, progettazione e ingegneria riservato alle Universit\u00e0<\/strong>, che mira a sviluppare l&#8217;innovazione e la trasmissione della conoscenza e della ricerca nel campo delle energie rinnovabili e dell\u2019architettura sostenibile.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">La sfida offerta alle Universit\u00e0 di tutto il mondo \u00e8 quella di progettare e realizzare &#8211; in un contesto accademico, e per un periodo di due anni &#8211; un <strong>prototipo di abitazione di circa 100 mq con il sole come unica fonte di energia<\/strong>, e di testarne l\u2019efficienza e la qualit\u00e0 ambientale per un periodo di un mese in un sito appositamente dedicato.<br \/> <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Una volta realizzati, i prototipi di \u201csolar house\u201d, pienamente funzionanti, saranno aperti al pubblico, e valutati da una giuria internazionale sulla base di <a href=\"http:\/\/www.restart4smart.com\/it\/contests\/\"><strong>10 contests<\/strong><\/a> (da qui il nome Solar Decathlon): architettura, sistema di costruzione, efficienza energetica, fonti rinnovabili, comfort interno, funzionalit\u00e0 delle apparecchiature, mobilit\u00e0 elettrica, sostenibilit\u00e0 ambientale, comunicazione e innovazione tecnologica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #800000; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #b80f0f;\">SOLAR DECATHLON MIDDLE EAST<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/solardecathlonme.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Solar Decathlon Middle East 2018 (SDME 2018)<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; che si terr\u00e0 a Dubai, Emirati Arabi Uniti &#8211; \u00e8 il nuovo nato della famiglia globale Solar Decathlon ed \u00e8 la prima edizione di questa importante competizione inter-universitaria ad aver luogo in Medio Oriente. Ulteriore sfida per le squadre in gara sar\u00e0 pertanto quella di doversi confrontare con un clima locale caratterizzato da valori di temperatura e umidit\u00e0 dell&#8217;aria estremamente elevati. Rispetto alle precedenti competizioni, l&#8217;edizione del Middle East pone inoltre particolare enfasi sulla sostenibilit\u00e0, sull&#8217;innovazione e sulla ricerca.
